Walthamstow's not the obvious choice for a late-night outing, but The Duke's monthly session gives you a reason to head east. Ministry of Breaks and radio host Blaze DJ program a night that spans breakbeat, drum and bass, UKG, old-school rave, disco, and hip-hop. These are genres that need a room that understands them, not a venue chasing trends.
It runs the last Saturday of every month from 11pm to 3am. Go if you want something reliably good without the central London price tag or posturing.
