Honky Tonk hero John Miller and his Country Casuals are returning to What's Cookin'. One of the great country singers these Islands have produced Mr Miller began his musical journey in the 1990s fronting Glasgow alternative Country Rock outfit Radio Sweethearts. Having released many recordings his latest long player Losers Hall Of Fame (FolknWestern Recording Co.) was released in 2024 to much acclaim. Scotland's Best Kept Secret...dont miss them!
Grace Under Fire are a rootin' tootin' cowpunk outfit from London, comprising Aisha Khan on vocals and Mal Barclay on guitar with a whole host of different musical friends. Think of a feminist Johnny Cash, with nods to Wanda Jackson, Buddy Holly and Eddie Noack. Vintage country and rockabilly reinvented for the modern world, with catchy melodies, powerful grooves and raw, honest lyrics.
