Building D2 sits in Design District, a pocket of the peninsula where photographers and makers cluster. You'll find teaching studios, community workshops, and open-studio sessions running through the year. The Photography Foundation runs the space, so expect everything from summer schools to composition classes to studio drop-ins where you can watch people work. It's built with neurodivergent access in mind. Some events are specifically designed for that, others just inherit the thoughtful approach. If you're learning photography, want to see work in progress, or prefer low-pressure spaces to gallery openings, this is where to look. More working creative hub than white-cube gallery.
