The Victoria runs a quiz night on the last Wednesday of each month from 7.30pm. Teams are capped at six, so you're working with your actual mates rather than trying to coordinate a mob.

Quiz nights are still the best cheap Wednesday going. You sit for a couple of hours, you think, you argue about answers, and you've done something social without needing a plan. The format means you need people who are good at different things - someone decent at history, someone who knows oddball facts, someone who just thinks laterally. The Victoria provides the questions. You provide the team and the banter.
