CellarDoor is a 60-seat speakeasy in Covent Garden. Originally an underground toilet outside the Lyceum, it's where Gielgud, Orton and Wilde used to go. Bar still serves Perrier-Jouet; Oscar's favourite.
The Human Jukebox format: musician takes requests, mic stays open for guests til midnight. You're part of the show. Nightly around 9pm, open til 1am. No door charge arriving early; VIP tickets skip queues.
Small room makes everything land. This isn't background-music venue. You're feet from what's happening.
