**What is Storybook Studio?** Storybook Studio is a weekly summer space where reading, art, and imagination come to life! Join us every week this August for an inspiring read-aloud featuring books carefully chosen to celebrate diverse global authors and meaningful themes, from community and empathy to nature and mindfulness. After the story, children and families can dive into fun, guided arts and crafts to bring the themes to life! **Week 1 Book: Last Stop on Market Street by Matt de la Peña** Every Sunday after church, CJ and his grandma ride the bus across town. Along the way, CJ wonders why they don't own a car or have iPads like his friends. His grandmother gently helps him see the beauty, rhythm, and vibrant life in their bustling urban neighborhood and the joy of helping others. **About Emma** Emma is a passionate educator with over six years of classroom experience teaching in Italy, Argentina, Spain, and the United States. Originally from Massachusetts, she brings a dynamic, multicultural perspective to every session. Emma loves weaving themes from global literature and her own travels into engaging, creative experiences that inspire young minds.
