Resonance Ensemble have spent a year creating original electronic music from a deliberately wide set of influences: sound system culture, space, klezmer, classic dance. It's an ambitious palette. What holds it together is compositional thought, not novelty; these are musicians with something specific to say.

They're a young ensemble working out their own voice rather than playing safe. The kind of group that could've gone obvious and instead decided to reach further. Metronome's the right venue for this; intimate enough to hear the detail.
