Request-driven singalongs with two competing pianists. You shout a song, the band plays it, and suddenly everyone's singing along. There's no gatekeeping, no wrong answer, just covers and requests one after another. It's chaos, but deliberate chaos.
Best for groups. The whole thing works because everyone's there for the same reason: to lose some control and see what happens with fifty people half-singing the same song.
Covent Garden keeps it mixed. Tourists, office mates, hen groups, people who've decided tonight is not about being cool. The charm is that it's unpretentious by design.
