DESCRIPTION:Rolling Zeros Presents: KILL TEAM: BLITZ DAY Event Details: Our Kill Team season continues with the Blitz Day tournament\, presented by Rolling Zeros\, on 08/08 at Arcanist’s Tavern in Shoreditch. This will be a 20-player singles event\, using a mix of terrain sets from the current and previous seasons. Blitz Format The defining feature of this event is the 60-minute rounds. These are intended to be quick games to allow us to get more rounds in during a single day of games. All participants will play in a five-round Swiss tournament to determine the outcome. Chess clocks are strongly recommended and may be required. Rolling Zeros chess clock rules will be in effect. Each player will have 24 minutes on their side of the clock. Terrain and Missions We will use the Approved Operations 2025 Tac Ops and Crit Ops. Map layouts may come from Approve Ops 2025\, Kill Team App\, and/or Squad Games map packs. Each table will be preset with a specific map layout\, and players will be assigned to tables randomly. All players will play the same mission each round as outlined in the event schedule below. Event Schedule Setup & Event Briefing 10:00 - 10:20 Round 1 - Secure 10:20 - 11:20 Break 11:20 - 11:40 Round 2 - Loot 11:40 - 12:40 Lunch 12:40 - 13:40 Round 3 - Stake Claim 13:40 - 14:40 Break 14:40 - 15:00 Round 4 - Orb 15:00 - 16:00 Break 16:00 - 16:30 Round 5 - Transmission 16:30 - 17:30 Awards & Cleardown 17:30 - 18:00 Venue doors open at 10:00 am sharp. Due to licensing\, only Tournament Organizers may be permitted entry before 10:00 am. Pairings: Tournament Points = Primary Points = Total Victory Points Placings: Tournament Points = Total Victory Points = Primary Points Team Selection Deadline: 11:59 pm on 06/08 Players must lock in their Kill Team Faction in advance through the event listing on Best Coast Pairings. Participant Conduct All players\, judges\, and tournament organisers are expected to participate in the spirit of good fun and sportsmanship. The Rolling Zeros Code of Honour is in effect for all RZ events. Rules Set This event will be run using the most up-to-date rules set for Kill Team\, including any balance dataslates\, errata\, and FAQs. Kill Team Selection All Classified Kill Teams are eligible to play in this event. Painting Requirements There are no painting requirements for this event. Conversions and proxy miniatures are accepted and strongly encouraged as long as they can be matched to the appropriate entry on the roster. If your models vary greatly from the standard kit\, please contact the Tournament Organizer in advance to confirm they are easily recognizable. If the model cannot be easily identified\, it may not be permitted for play. Tools of War Players must bring their Kill Team\, equipment terrain (barricades\, ladders\, etc)\, dice\, measuring gauges\, and order markers. Outside Food and Drinks are Strictly Prohibited A space like Arcanist’s Tavern can only survive on supplementary bar sales\, so every pound you spend here will make sure that we can host these tournaments for you for a long time to come. If you have a medical condition that requires you to take breaks for food or drinks\, please speak to the Tournament Organizer to arrange extra time for your journeys outdoors. Failure to comply with this rule may result in a VP penalty.
